The Southern District YMCA nurtures the potential of kids, promotes healthy living and fosters a sense of social responsibility.
For 85 years, Camp Lincoln, Kingston, NH, has been the summer camp of choice for day camp and overnight adventures. For 25 years, families have turned to the Y’s School Age Child Care for fun and safe before-school and after-school programs in 15 communities. Since 2011, Y-Arts has given art classes to toddlers, teens and adults at the YMCA at ECCA, Exeter, where an after school art program is also active.
The power to inspire and connect a community happens every day, all year, at the Southern District YMCA where health and wellnes for all ages is a life-style.

Camp Lincoln
On the shores of Kingston Lake sits 70-acres of pure fun. Rooted in tradition, enthusiastic capable staff, incredible activity choices and a healthy, safe environment bring friendship and leadership to life. Since 1926, Camp Lincoln has offered a traditional camping experience where campers achieve self-confidence, learn new skills and grow in spirit, mind and body. Camp builds confidence, respect and character and the counselor-in-training fosters work ethics and communication and leadership skills grow. Camp Lincoln is dedicated to encourage achievements and friendships that will last a lifetime.

School Age Child Care
School Age Child Care is a safe, engaging, licensed before- and after-school program operated by the YMCA within the school—so families like yours have peace of mind while at work. Additional enrichment field trips operate during school vacation weeks and teacher-in-service days. Currently, 15 communities benefit from the School Age Child Care program, which builds trust, responsibility and teaches values, joy and healthy habits every day.

Y-Arts Classes
Launched from a partnership with the Exeter Center for Creative Arts (ECCA) at 30 Linden Street that began in 2011, Y-Arts provides high quality arts education. Through classes and workshops, preschoolers, youth, teens and adults explore art mediums and develop their natural talent.
The highly qualified staff at Y-Arts encourage personal excellence at every skill level. Engaged with the local art community, Y-Arts students enjoy guest artists-in-residence as well as the multi-dimensional talents of the Y art teachers. The many choices in the class schedule make Y-Arts a natural choice for art education at all ages.

Community Programs
Through programs that reach out into the community, the YMCA shares its socially responsible mission of putting Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all. Southern District YMCA coordinates with school staff to offer enrichment programs all the way through high school that engage the minds and bodies of our youth.
