ESCAPE TO THE ADIRONDACKS

July 2-7, 2023

2023 Itinerary

Sunday July 2nd

· 5p.m. Introduction at Camp Lincoln with parents, campers and leaders (Please eat dinner before arriving to camp)

· Introduction meeting with parents, trip leaders and campers

· Gear “shake-down”, swim test, games and snack around the campfire

· Lights out at Camp Lincoln

Monday July 3rd

· Breakfast at Camp Lincoln

· Pack bus and drive to Wilderness Campground

· Check in and setup camp

· Take a short hike

· Dinner, games, and bed at the Wilderness Campground

Tuesday July 4th

· Early breakfast

· Head to Lake Placid for a day of fun

· Explore historical sites and Olympic venues

· Back to the campground for a swim before dinner

Wednesday July 5th

· Wake up and have a good breakfast

· Set out for a hike of one of the Adirondacks exciting mountains

· Lunch at the Summit

· Head back to the campground for dinner and games

· Lights out at the Wilderness Campground

Thursday July 6th

· Breakfast at campground

· Head out for a relaxing day on the water as we float down the North River

· Lunch on the River

· Head back to the campground for dinner and evening activities

Friday July 7th

· Breakfast, pack up the bus to head home

· Arrive back at camp

· 6:00pm parent pick up and sharing favorite stories
