Travel to the striking Green Mountains of Vermont, where we will discover the beauty of the state on land and water. Spend the week paddle surfing on stunning Lake Champlain, hiking Mt Mansfield, the tallest peak in Vermont, shopping and discovering street performers on famous Church Street, and eating delicious ice cream on our Ben and Jerry’s tour. Evenings will be spent around campfires, night hiking and tent camping.

Sunday, July 28th 

  • 5 p.m. Introduction meeting with parents, campers and leaders at YMCA Camp Lincoln (please eat dinner before arriving)

  • Gear “shake-down,” swim test, games, snack, and tent set up

  • Night spent camping at a nearby campground 


Monday, July 29th 

  • Up early for breakfast

  • Pack bus and drive to Little River Campground in Waterbury, VT

  • Set up camp and enjoy some lunch

  • Explore the trails for the afternoon and cool off in Waterbury Reservoir

  • Prepare equipment for the following day’s expedition before dinner and games 


Tuesday, July 30th 

  • Wake up and have a hearty breakfast

  • Head over to Bolton Potholes Swimming Hole for a quick dip.

  • On the water for a 9 mile paddle down the Winooski River

  • Dinner back at Little River Campground 


Wednesday, July 31st 

  • Sleep in and have a relaxing breakfast

  • Head to Arbor Trek for a Zip line Canopy Tour

  • Drive to Burlington to explore downtown and have a bite to eat

  • Head back to the campground for stories and bedtime 


Thursday, August 1st 

  • Another busy day!

  • Hike Camels Hump (4,081”), lunch at the summit

  • Head down, relax and make some dinner

  • Campfire and sleep at Little River Campground 


Friday, August 2nd 

  • Wake up, pack up camp after breakfast

  • Head to the world famous Ben and Jerry’s Factory for a tour and delicious ice cream

  • Travel Back to YMCA Camp Lincoln for 6:00 pm parent pick up and stories
