YMCA Camp Lincoln Wish List

Camp receives many generous gifts each year to help further the YMCA's mission.  A wish list is a way for individuals and businesses to contribute from their existing treasures or to donate a specific item that may be purchased on behalf of camp.

- Baseball/softball gloves -  Our sports program is limited in these activities by the lack of gloves and the cost associated with outfitting a team
- Bicycles -  BMX and mountain bikes (20) are needed for the new BMX track and for Adventure Camp
- Camp radio station - Camp is seeking equipment to have a camper led radio station that can have music and news piped directly into each cabin during Siesta and designated times.
- Camp Stoves - Two burner propane camping stoves (2) are needed for the adventure camp
- Costumes - Skits and crazy drama props are needed for summer camp and the year round camp programs
- Flag pole - A flag pole is needed in each village (3)
- Handheld  radios/walkie-talkies - Staff around camp communicate via radios and additional equipment will replace the older models
- Hand tools - Woodworking camp is very popular and the program is seeking to expand to the traditional camp
- Kayaks/canoes - New and nearly new canoes, kayaks, paddles and flotation devices are needed for the continued growth of the boating program
- LCD Projector - A projector is needed to show Power Point presentations for staff training and camper led projects
- Lumber - Thousands of board feet of lumber is needed for a variety of camp projects and for woodworking camp.
- Pottery wheels - The pottery program is very popular and is in need of additional wheels
- Power tools - A host of projects are completed by volunteers and power tools and building equipment is needed
- Ski boat - You never know unless you ask.  A water ski boat would create new programming and new camps for older campers.
- Storage sheds - Four wooden 8" X 10" or larger storage sheds are needed to store equipment in each program area
- Vehicle - A gently used vehicle is needed for the staff to run errands and visit after school programs.
- War Canoes - A war canoe is much larger than a regular canoe (seats 10-14 campers) and is a great way to work together as a team
- Other????? - The sky is the limit on materials and equipment that would further the YMCA mission.
