Dear Parents and Campers,
Thank you for your interest in YMCA Camp Lincoln. We have been offering amazing Summer Camp experiences for Seacoast youth for 82 years. Our campers gain confidence, foster friendships, learn new skills and enjoy summer days while under the watchful eyes of our highly trained staff.
Our Summer Camp is a community of welcoming campers and staff who beleive in the YMCA's Core Values of Respect, Responsibility, Honesty and Caring. These beliefs are a part of everything at Camp. When asking families why they return to YMCA Camp Lincoln year after year, the overwhelming responses are centered around the sense of community - the friends made, the safe environment provided, the variety of activities, and fantastic counselors. I am proud to say that Camp Lincoln provides a safe place for children to interact with positive role models, enjoy new opportunities and develope friendships which last much longer than summer.
At YMCA Camp Lincoln we hire caring staff that are dedicated to creating a fun Summer Camp experience for everyone. Safety, both physical and emotional, is first and foremost in our minds. We are proud to have many staff return each year to continue building strong relationships and programs for our campers. Many of the staff has also completed our 12 week Counselor In Training program. Because of this unique program, our first year counselors already have 3 months experience working with children before their first day as paid staff. All of our staff attend a 40 hour staff training week before Camp starts and go through reference and criminal background checks. Every staff person is certified in CPR and First Aid. The staff we hire at YMCA Camp Lincoln are always willing to put the camper’s needs first. They have high energy with a positive attitude and are dedicated to making this the best summer of every campers’ life.
