TONITE is Community Night - 6-8pm
You are invited to Camp Lincoln from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24, for an evening by the lake
Community Night is our way of saying thank you to the generous volunteers and donors who give access to the YMCA programs to those who do not have the means to pay for it. You are invited to Camp Lincoln to get a taste of what kids (and staff!) enjoy every day! This event is free and open to the public. No reservations are required for dinner or entertainment. The entire family is welcome.
When kids want fun and parents want enrichment, the YMCA delivers. But when a working family cannot afford a safe, healthy, engaging program for their child’s summer and afterschool time, the community of southern NH deliver financially to provide scholarships for those in need. At the Southern District YMCA, we say ‘thank you’ to all who have given so generously for the kids. A camper’s mom recently expressed the same gratitude, “this was his first time at camp and he can’t wait to go again next year. He loved the staff and the kids and learned a lot.” Summer camp is offered at Camp Lincoln in Kingston and at the YMCA at ECCA in Exeter.
Community Night is open to everyone: those who have given; those who want to know more; and those who just appreciate the outdoors. On the shores of Kingston Lake, YMCA staff will grill dinner while you enjoy the lakeside amenities of camp. A bonfire with s’mores and staff entertainment in the amphitheater will close the evening.
Take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to enjoy someone else cooking dinner while you paddle around the lake, take a swim, or conquer a rock wall. YMCA Camp Lincoln has appreciated 86 years at 67 Ball Road in Kingston. The community support during all of those years has led to the success of today’s youth programming.
YMCA Camp Lincoln is located at 67 Ball Road, Kingston, NH.
The next Community Night at Camp Lincoln will be Tuesday, August 21, beginning at 6:00 p.m.
