Session 4

March 5 - April 13

Make-up week is April 16-20

Hand Building - In this 6-week class you will learn to design and make hand built pottery and ceramic sculpting using various techniques such as: slab construction, coil pots, pinch pots, surface texture, clay. Glazing will also be covered during class. Students will be encouraged to expand on what they have learned and take projects in their own direction during the class.

Watercolor - This class is for those who are newer to watercolor. We will practice the basic washes, brush strokes, and techniques together each step of the way. Students will learn some color theory, create value charts, learn to understand the pigments on your palette, and more.

April 30 - June 8

Make-up week is June 11-15

Drawing Basics - For students who wish to begin the study of traditional drawing. This course will begin with the basic elements of line, form, perspective, proportions and shading. Artist will draw from still life and people from observation.
