Babysitter Training Courses
CPR for Babysitting - Tuesday, April 22 from 2:30-4:00

The Southern District YMCA teams up with Exeter HealthReach at Exeter Hospital to offer a 1-day CPR for Babysitting Course at the Stratham Cooperative Middle School.
During the course, students will learn:
How to respond in an emergency
How to perform CPR on an infant and child
What to do in the event of a choking child or infant
Babysitter Training
The Southern District YMCA teams up with Exeter HealthReach at Exeter Hospital several times each year to offer the Babysitter Training Course at the Stratham Cooperative Middle School. This class is an important first step for students who are at least 12 years of age, and hoping to begin babysitting. Students must attend all three classes in order to recieve a certificate of completion. All classes are taught by certified nurses from Exeter Hospital.
During the three-day course Babysitter Training course, students will learn the basics of:
Emergency preparedness
Behavior and crisis management
First aid
Safe baby-sitting advertising techniques
Salary negotiation
